Foam in the aeration tank means less air for the microorganisms and lower efficiency as a result. On the other hand, too much air in the settling tank leads to flotation and the risk of foam reaching the receiving water course. Our defoaming and deaerating agents combat this. Odour formation during fibre recovery, in white water or in sludge treatment, is also unwelcome. Our biocides and biodispersants offer a remedy.
