KLK is a leading plantation company, with plantation sites located in Malaysia, Sabah and Indonesia.
Processing of the crop is carried out in KLK's own mills and refineries. Products include crude palm oil, RBD (refined, bleached, deodorised) palm olein and stearin, as well as kernel oil and cake.
Manufacturing
KLK Oleo is one of the world's largest manufacturers of palm oil-based oleochemical products and their derivatives with a product range including fatty acids, glycerine, fatty amides, soap noodles, soap bars, esters and fatty alcohols. Recent investment and acquisition activities have allowed the Group to venture further downstream into products like methyl ester sulfonates, amines, biodiesel, fine chemicals and surfactants.
The KLK Oleo Group operates several oleochemical complexes in Asia and supports its global customer base throughout Asia, the USA and Europe from these strategic bases. The Group also operates storage facilities in Asia, the USA and Europe, enabling the Group to guarantee its global customers a faster delivery service.
